OneDrive for Business

All staff, students and alumni can have cloud storage to store, share and sync your own study / work files wherever there is an Internet access. The storage size is 5TB for staff and 1TB for students / alumni. The provisioning is subject to the terms and conditions of the Microsoft licensing agreement.

2. Sharing Features in OneDrive

Currently, there are 4 target groups available while sharing with others:

1	Anyone with link	Sharing to the public, especially those without CUHK accounts	No login is required. Please set an expiration date and password to protect the files You cannot trace who modifies the file if you allow editing
2	People in The Chinese … of Hong Kong	Secured sharing among either all staff or all students When you welcome further sharing among either all staff or all students	CUHK staff and students are separated groups under “The Chinese University of Hong Kong”. If staff need to have frequent and secured collaboration with a large group of students for courses / projects, please apply for a project account in “student cloud”.
3	People with existing access	When you just want to send a link to somebody who already has access.	/
4	Specific People	Secured sharing to specific email address, including non-CUHKers.	Your recipient will receive a verification code from Microsoft while accessing the files. Check Junk folder if it is not found.
