About ITSC – Organization

The Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) provides services to the University’s academic, research, and administrative sectors. Their support extends beyond technical assistance and project development to include information security, system recommendations, acquisition, installation, and maintenance. The entire campus is connected via a University Campus Backbone Network with speeds up to 100Gbps, and has high-speed links to the Hong Kong Internet Exchange (HKIX) and various research, education networks, and cloud services.

The ITSC, with Ms. Carol Chiu as Director, Mr. Roger So as Associate Director, Mr. Gordon Kui and Mr. Morris Kwok as Assistant Director, is organized to serve different service areas. Each area is led and supported by senior computer officers / computer officers.
