The University has selected Zoom as the primary platform to support synchronous teaching and learning activities. Zoom is trusted by universities and well received by users around the world (including the Mainland) for web / video conferencing or webinars. Despite its rich features, most users find it very easy to use across

  • the internet browsers and Zoom clients on desktop and
  • the app Zoom cloud meetings on mobile devices.

Available to

  • Staff & students: no time limit for meetings up to 300 attendees
  • Alumni: 40 mins limit for meetings more than 2 attendees

Service Charge and Application

Free; no application required.
For teachers / scholars without CUHK staff accounts, please apply for an external user account respectively with justification clearly stated.
