Steps
Click Start , open Settings , then click Update & Security, and click Backup.
Click Add a drive , then select an external drive for your backups.

Click search on the task bar, type restore files, then select Restore your files with File History.
Look for the file you need, then use the arrows to see all its versions.
When find the version you need, select Restore to save it to its original file location. If want to save it in a different location, right click Restore, select Restore to, and then choose a new location.

2.1 Create a backup system image
Steps
Open the Control Panel.
Click Backup and Restore (Windows 7).
In the left panel, click Create a system image.
Select the location that you want to save the backup. For example, click On a hard disk, and select external hard disk.
Then click Next.
Select the drives that you want to backup. Then click Next.
Click Start backup to confirm backup settings and start backup.
2.2 Restore your system from a backup system image:
Steps
Click Start , open Settings , then click Update & Security.
In left panel, click Recovery.
In the Advanced startup section, click Restart now.
When your PC restarts, click Troubleshoot, and click Advanced Options.
Then click System Image Recovery, and follow the instructions to restore your PC using your the system image that you created in Step 2.1.
