Email for Retiree

This email service is available to CUHK retirees as defined by the Human Resources Office. It offers basic email functionalities, including sending, receiving, and storing messages, along with a personalized email address in the format xxx@e.cuhk.edu.hk.

You may opt in to the Reminding Service prior to retirement. For up to three years after retirement, an automatic reply will be sent to anyone who emails your default CUHK staff address (xxx@cuhk.edu.hk).

If you take up a new appointment after retirement, this automatic reply feature will be disabled automatically. Should you wish to reactivate the feature after the completion of your service, please contact us.

Update on Microsoft 365 Email for Retirees 

Due to the “Storage Changes for Microsoft 365 Education | Microsoft Education” several measures will be implemented to free up storage space and improve loading times in your primary mailbox.

A new quota limit of 10GB will be applied to your CUHK Retiree Email accounts (xxx@e.cuhk.edu.hk) effective from 22 Oct 2025.
