Checklist for Leaving Staff

1. Create an Outlook Data File (.pst) to save your emails, contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes.  Make sure you have backed up items from the Online Archive folder as well.
2. Download files from CUHK cloud storage,  e.g. OneDrive or Zoom cloud recordings.
3. Print / Save BitLocker recovery key of your personal devices (if any)

Do not copy university records or confidential files.

2. OneDrive – files shared by you will become inaccessible after your departure, please ask your colleagues to make a copy of them
3. Zoom meetings
4. Files from your work PC

Please reach ITSC Service Desk if you would need help to transfer Zoom recording(s) and Qualtrics project(s).

1. Information about project or other non-staff account(s) can be found in the Computing Account Application & Management System (https://cai2.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/CAAMS) via Campus Network or CUHK VPN.
2. If you manage any project or other non-staff account(s), please update the account holder / coordinator here.
3. Remind the new account owner / coordinator to change the account password and update Duo 2FA devices accordingly.

1. Uninstall any software that acquired through campus-wide software license program (e.g. Microsoft 365 desktop apps, and Kaspersky) from your personally owned computers.
2. Inform your department about any software license that acquired separately (e.g. Power BI Pro).
3. Return all University-owned devices (e.g. laptops).
4. Return the Duo 2FA hardware token if it was ordered by the department.
5. Return your CU Link card to the Card Centre.
