When you have fulfilled your academic requirements, your student account access will expire according to your term end date / expected graduation date in CUSIS.
We will email you a reminder 30 days before account expiry. After the account expiry, will let you know which IT services you still have access to.
To avoid any complications, we strongly recommend that you perform the following actions before your account expiry.

Review your personal information in MyCUHK > CUSIS > Profile to ensure you can receive the University important emails or mails after graduation.

2. Backup Data
Back up your data and academic records on various CUHK applications and platforms, including but not limited to
Study materials (Materials in Blackboard are for CUHK student learning purpose and should NOT be used for other purposes);
Create an Outlook Data File (.pst) to save your emails, contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes. Make sure you have backed up items from the Online Archive folder as well. You will need an Outlook desktop app (purchased separately) to read the .pst file.
Opt in Alumni Email Service in 90 days before graduation to use the following (subject to the latest Microsoft Campus Agreement)
Outlook (@Link email) – Items older than 2 years will automatically be moved to an ‘Online Archive’ mailbox that located next to your primary @Link mailbox. You will need an Outlook desktop app (purchased separately) to view the tasks and notes that were moved to the Online Archive.
OneDrive – May become read-only and terminated on 16 Dec 2025. Please download your files and store in other alternative storage options. As the files cannot be retrieved from 16 Dec.
Please check the service details and opt-in procedures. You must opt in before graduation to retain your emails. Service will be automatically available in 1 working day after opt-in.
After graduation, you can stay with CUHK by enjoying a range of internet services for alumni. Please read Alumni Affairs Office website for more details.
