Cause Enable DUO Universal Prompt for Device Management component and apply the latest security patches
Service Affected
  1. After enabling DUO Universal Prompt for Device Management component, user experience will be slightly changed. For details, please refer to DUO Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
  2. DUO 2FA Self-Service User Portal (https://duo.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk) will be intermittently unavailable during the above period. When this happens, users will be unable to perform the following actions
  • Manage mobile devices in your account
  • Generate rescue code for emergency use
  • Generate bypass code in case you encounter any problems with your mobile
