Guide to Handle Phishing Email
Here is how the phishing email looks.
From: Hongkongpost <email@example.com>
Sent: 20 Nov 2020 (Fri) 9:40AM
Subject: Tracking: The shipment could not be delivered
This emails is to inform you that we have a problem with your parcel.
Unfortunately, we have been informed by our driver that there has been a problem with your delivery.
Reason: Address incomplete, missing details
Your tracking number is:
After two failed delivery attempts, the package was returned to our main warehouse, where it will be retained until 2020.11.23.
After that date it will be returned to sender without further notice.
>> If you wish to have it delivered to your doorstep, please follow <this link> and complete the details.
Receiver must pay an additional shipping fee for redelivery.
Also note that the shipment item is available for collection.
Remember to bring an identification card, as well as the notification or shipment item id.
