Incident Details
More info:
The affected connection methods include:
– Outlook for the web
– Representational State Transfer (REST) API
– Calendar access through the Microsoft Teams apps
– Search through Microsoft Teams desktop client and web app
Current status: Microsoft’s investigation has shifted to look into the Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) service, as we’ve identified that provisioning scenarios in Azure AD have increased, which may be causing our networking infrastructure to reach out to the Object Store more than expected, resulting in the experienced latency. They are working to confirm if this is the underlying source of the issue and determine our next steps if so.

Scope of impact: This issue may potentially impact any user attempting to access the Exchange Online service through Outlook for the web, methods utilizing the REST API, or their calendar through the Microsoft Teams apps.
